The Question: What does the future hold? San Juan, Puerto Rico I want to focus on the environment and how the fashion industry is impacting it. Fashion is one of the top polluters in the world, due to excessive textile production, water usage, and CO2 emissions. Fast fashion and trends are producing high volumes of textile waste in our landfills. People constantly want new looks for cheap and throw away their clothes before it reaches the end of its lifecycle. Not only is fast fashion hurting our planet, but corporations are taking advantage of people in third world countries. They do not give their workers a living wage and their working conditions are unsafe. If we continue to hurt our environment then eventually the day will come where beautiful places like the picture above will no longer exist.

Interview with Maria  She's a Junior double majoring in Business and DAT She has a golden retriever named Bear and we are both dog people! She was originally born in Columbia, but was raised in Louisville.  She enjoys thrifting, photography and going to local events around the city.  Her biggest Pet Peeve is lateness.  Favorite Food is the Pineapple and Chicken Pizza from BoomBozz Her music taste is mostly Rap and R&B. We both are super not into country. Some of her favorite artists are: The 1975, SZA, and Trippy Redd She has an older brother and her dream job is to be a Girl Boss of a sustainable Fashion Brand.  She's mostly a city person, and her dream vacation is to go to Greece. We are both Virgos as well. 

This is me in the process of knitting a blanket. Im making a picnic blanket using hexagons. Knitting is something I do quite often because it reduces my anxiety and it's something I can watch netflix or listen to podcasts or music and do.

One of the things that I like to do is playing video games. This game is called Rocket League and it has been out for awhile but I still like to play it from time to time. I am hoping I can make something cool like this game which is why I am a Computer Science major.

Doing something I love - Will Duke: As a computer science major/programmer, I spend a lot of time at my computer. Here is a picture of me doing something I love: programming. You can see the code on the screen to the left. For those wondering, that is CSS I am writing.

Something I enjoy doing is playing and being goofy with my little cousins. There is nine of us, I am the oldest and this is the baby.

Payten Downing Bellarmine University Student Louisville native, Payten Downing, recently moved back to Kentucky from Michigan. She is a first-year student majoring in nursing and minoring in photography. Her favorite holiday is Christmas because it is fun and people are happy. Some of Payten's hobbies include triathlons, personal training and photography. We both enjoy participating in the 5K Color Run. Her dream vacation is to Island-hop around Greece. Although, she just went on a mission trip to Haiti. As a matter of fact, her scariest memory has to do with Haiti riots. The mission trip came to a halt for three days!  By: Molly Jett

I love to skateboard with friends and family. I practically grew up on a skateboard. I quit skating for Lacrosse in junior high school and highschool. I got back into skateboarding freshman year at Bellarmine, mainly for transportation because i didn't have a car.

This is a picture of my friends and I tandem biking around northern Michigan. I love hanging with my friends and traveling as well. Also, anytime that I am by water I am a happy person.
