Lucas Rogers: Film is a unique form of art that I'm very passionate about. I have my own YouTube channel, BandGeek Productions. On it is a variety of different video types. I have three short films (Crying Out, Scream, and The Pangs of Despised Love), a few comedies, some cell phone videos from high school, a short-lived vlog series, montage videos, and two short documentary-like videos including my newest video, Students Beyond Barriers.

Ideas for Project 1: What does the future hold? I want to focus on the advancements of technology and how it is going to shape the future. The ultimate goal is to make technology as useful to humanity as possible, but what happens if we inadvertently become completely reliant on technology. My project would look at how technology has advanced over time, what advancements are coming and how they are/are going to affect society. We already are seeing new generations developing addictions and dependency on the technology around them. I want to look at the pros and cons of becoming a world that has integrated technology into every aspect of life.
