Here are some fun facts about Maddie Black!

  • She's a junior 
  • A double major in Sculpture & DAT 
  • Some of her hobbies are knitting and going to house shows to watch bands play.
  • Her favorite food is pasta.
  • She does not like rap or country music.
  • Some of her favorite bands are The Lumineers and Hippo Campus. 
  • Being a freelance artist or graphic designer is her dream job. 
  • Ideally, she would like to live in the suburbs. 
  • She has a younger brother and sister. 
  • Her dream vacation would be to visit India. 
Some things we have in common are:
  • Both DAT majors.
  • We both have pets!
  • We both are dog persons.
  • We are both Virgos.

Ideas for Project 1: What does the future hold? I want to focus on the advancements of technology and how it is going to shape the future. The ultimate goal is to make technology as useful to humanity as possible, but what happens if we inadvertently become completely reliant on technology. My project would look at how technology has advanced over time, what advancements are coming and how they are/are going to affect society. We already are seeing new generations developing addictions and dependency on the technology around them. I want to look at the pros and cons of becoming a world that has integrated technology into every aspect of life.
