Ideas for Project 1: What does the future hold?
I want to focus on the advancements of technology and how it is going to shape the future. The ultimate goal is to make technology as useful to humanity as possible, but what happens if we inadvertently become completely reliant on technology. My project would look at how technology has advanced over time, what advancements are coming and how they are/are going to affect society. We already are seeing new generations developing addictions and dependency on the technology around them. I want to look at the pros and cons of becoming a world that has integrated technology into every aspect of life.

I think that this topic is super broad, there is many subjects to discuss. Are you looking at societal impacts of technology? I feel like a whole project can be centered around the societal impacts of technology between now and the near and far future (that is if you didnt plan to do that already)
ReplyDeleteIn my youth I could never have imagined current advancements in technology, and it is powerfully addictive: both the technology itself and its applications in services, retail, media and communication sectors. It's taking a physical toll on many of us, and there's valid reason to believe there are social and cognative consequences as well. This is a fascinating topic.
