Project Ideas:
1) Technology and the workplace: What is the way that has human and machine conflict? What does the future hold for technology in the workplace?
I will focus on the impact that current technology has in the work place, mainly with autonomous systems. I will give an anecdote of current technology and analyze the cost/benefit relationship in all ways

    Certainly this is a complex issue, with technology threatening jobs but also improving the lives of workers and consumers. Not only has technology replaced laborers, it's also allowed 'amateurs' to compete for what were once specialized professions in transportation (uber, lyft), hospitality (airbnb), etc. There are lots of directions you could go with this topic; it's a good one.

Ideas for Project 1: What does the future hold? I want to focus on the advancements of technology and how it is going to shape the future. The ultimate goal is to make technology as useful to humanity as possible, but what happens if we inadvertently become completely reliant on technology. My project would look at how technology has advanced over time, what advancements are coming and how they are/are going to affect society. We already are seeing new generations developing addictions and dependency on the technology around them. I want to look at the pros and cons of becoming a world that has integrated technology into every aspect of life.
